Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and elected to bat first in their tri-nation Twenty20 international match against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.
Both teams are unchanged from victories in their opening matches of the tournament.
With their superior net-run rate, Afghanistan are currently sitting at the top of the points table with four points ahead of hosts Bangladesh who has also four points. Zimbabwe are third after losing both their matches.
The team that wins today’s fixture will rise to the top of the standings.
