A MURDER probe has been launched after a man was stabbed to death and another was left fighting for life following a knife fight in Birmingham.
The 37-year-old was declared dead at the scene after the violent brawl erupted outside a home in Sparkhill last night.
Four others were injured – including a 35-year-old who remains in a critical condition in hospital with serious stab wounds.
The other three – two aged in their 30s and one in their 40s – suffered injuries which were not serious.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the horror at around 10.40pm.
Detective Inspector Nick Barnes, from the force’s homicide team, said: “A man has tragically died and others have been injured as a result of this disorder.

“We understand all the men are known to each other and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death at this stage.
