IRISH 2000 Guineas winner Phoenix Of Spain heads the field for Tuesday’s St James’s Palace Stakes.
Charlie Hills’ three-year-old was super impressive under Jamie Spencer and looks to be heard to beat again.
Champion two-year-old Too Darn Hot is also prominent in the market but he has failed to live up to his form last year – even though he hasn’t run badly – and has a couple of question marks hanging over him.
John Gosden also has another chance with King Of Comedy who created a good impression at Sandown and looks up to this level – although he could be vulnerable to boiling over in the atmosphere.
Aidan O’Brien entered Circus Maximus at the five-day declarations but he doesn’t look to have a star on his hands in the field this year.
French raider Shaman is interesting while Richard Hannon’s Fox Champion is improving fast.
