Game Thread #24: A’s at Rangers
Happy Tuesday everyone!
The A’s have won seven of eight and are over .500 for the first time since Opening Day. These early series away from home are extra important this year, if only to show that last season’s miserable road record was an aberration. Andrew Triggs was on the mound for Oakland’s last loss and failed to make it through the second inning. Here’s hoping he finds better command this evening. Triggs is facing Cole Hamels, whose perhiperals look a lot better than his traditional stats. Hamels can still be masterful on his day, but this A’s lineup seems like it will be hard on left-handed pitching all season.
Full lineups are posted below, and first pitch from Arlington is at 5:05 PM. Let’s go Oakland!
